2 January 2026
Media Release for the CDC Vouchers Scheme 2026 (January), which was officially launched on 2 January 2026 at Punggol 21 Community Club
The Community Development Council (CDC) Vouchers Scheme 2026 (January) was officially launched today at Punggol 21 Community Club. All Singaporean households are eligible to receive $300 worth of CDC Vouchers as part of the continued support provided to help with daily expenses, and to support participating hawkers and heartland merchants.
The event was attended by Guest-of-Honour, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade and Industry, Mr Gan Kim Yong. Also in attendance were the Mayors and representative of the five districts:
Ms Low Yen Ling, Senior Minister of State for Trade and Industry & Culture, Community and Youth, Chairman of Mayors’ Committee, and Mayor of South West District;
Mr Baey Yam Keng, Mayor of North East District;
Mr Dinesh Vasu Dash, Mayor of South East District;
Ms Denise Phua, Mayor of Central Singapore District; and
Mr Liang Eng Hwa, Vice Chairman of North West CDC.
Continued Support for Singaporean Households and Heartland Merchants
This launch completes the disbursement of the $800 CDC Vouchers announced at Budget 2025. Following the first tranche of $500 distributed in May 2025, households can now claim the remaining $300 CDC Vouchers from 2 January 2026. As with earlier tranches, the amount is split equally: $150 for spending at participating hawkers and heartland merchants, and $150 for spending at participating supermarkets.
This eighth tranche of the nationwide digital CDC Vouchers Scheme continues to provide meaningful support for Singaporean households and participating hawkers and heartland merchants. By encouraging Singaporeans to spend within their neighbourhoods, the scheme also creates opportunities for residents to interact with their communities and support our hawkers and heartland merchants. The CDC Vouchers Scheme is supported by a committed network of participating hawkers and heartland merchants, ensuring that residents can conveniently access food, services and daily essentials right at their doorstep.
The five CDCs will continue to work closely with these merchants to ensure Singaporean households have a seamless experience in spending the CDC Vouchers. Residents can find nearby participating heartland merchants, hawkers and supermarkets by visiting go.gov.sg/cdcvouchers. Participating hawkers and heartland merchants can also be identified by the teal CDC Vouchers decal, while participating supermarkets can be identified by the yellow CDC Vouchers decal.
Seamless Process for Claiming and Spending CDC Vouchers
Singaporean households can visit go.gov.sg/cdcv and log in with their Singpass to claim the latest tranche of digital vouchers from 2 January 2026. In line with sustainability efforts and positive resident feedback, notification letters will not be issued for this eighth tranche of the CDC Vouchers Scheme. Instead, information on the claiming process will be available through digital platforms, social media, newspaper advertisements and community posters to guide residents.
After claiming, an SMS from gov.sg will be sent to the registered mobile number, containing a unique voucher link. This link can be easily shared among household members, allowing everyone to use the vouchers conveniently. The SMS links for the CDC Vouchers 2026 (January) will differ from those sent for the CDC Vouchers 2025 (May). The January 2026 vouchers are valid until 31 December 2026.
Ensuring Continued Support for the Digitally Less-Savvy
To ensure that every Singaporean household benefits, the CDCs have mobilised a support network to facilitate the claiming process. For seniors and residents who may be less familiar with digital tools, assistance is readily available at Community Centres/Clubs (CCs) and SG Digital Community Hubs. Priority queues will be available at CCs for seniors and persons with disabilities. Additional support will also be provided for residents without smartphones or those who need help setting up Singpass accounts or resetting passwords. The CDCs appreciate the public’s patience and understanding during peak periods for voucher claims.
Reflecting the spirit of shared care, youth and student volunteers will be working alongside CDC Ambassadors to assist residents with the claiming process. In the first week of the launch, over 500 volunteers from institutions such as the Institutes of Technical Education, St Andrew’s Junior College, Ngee Ann Polytechnic and Singapore Management University will be deployed at high-traffic CCs. This collective effort underscores the commitment to foster a culture of care and inclusivity.
SG Digital Office’s (SDO) Digital Ambassadors and Silver Infocomm Wellness Ambassadors will also be present at selected CCs from 2 to 15 January 2026 to help residents claim their digital vouchers. SDO will conduct CDC Vouchers Learning Journeys at these locations to equip residents with hands-on knowledge on how to use their vouchers effectively. Beyond this period, Singaporeans can continue to pick up digital skills for daily living tasks, including claiming their CDC Vouchers, through SDO’s Digital Ambassadors at over 30 SG Digital Community Hubs and more than 200 roving counters island-wide.
The CDC Vouchers Donation Scheme is open until 31 January 2026 for households that wish to contribute towards meaningful causes by donating their unused vouchers to participating Institutions of a Public Character. Reminder to Stay Vigilant Against Scams
The People’s Association (PA) and CDCs urge members of the public to exercise caution when claiming the CDC Vouchers. Claiming CDC Vouchers does not require residents to disclose any bank log-in details, transfer money, or install mobile applications from unofficial app stores. If you receive any suspicious messages related to gov.sg or CDC Vouchers, contact PA at 6225 5322. If you are unsure if something is a scam, you should call the 24/7 ScamShield Helpline at 1799.
