Frequently Asked Questions about Donation of CDC Vouchers 2025

• How do I donate my household's CDC Vouchers 2025 (January) and/or CDC Vouchers 2025 (May)?

  Residents can pledge to donate the balance of their CDC Vouchers 2025 in three steps:

  1. Visit the CDC Vouchers Scheme website at vouchers.cdc.gov.sg and click on ‘Donate CDC Vouchers 2025’
  2. View list of Institutions of Public Character (IPCs) - select your preferred IPC from a list IPCs from different sectors and be directed to a FormSG to pledge the declaration of donation
  3. Pledge your donation – Login via Singpass to pledge the entire balance of the household’s CDC Vouchers 2025 as of 31 December 2025 to the selected IPC

  If your household has claimed or has yet to claim your CDC Vouchers but wishes to donate, you will be able to pledge the donation of your balance CDC Vouchers to your preferred IPC via FormSG.

• When can I donate my household's CDC Vouchers 2025?

  From 1 December 2025 until 31 January 2026, residents will be able to pledge their donation of their balance CDC Vouchers 2025 to a preferred charity.

  The CDC Vouchers 2025 will expire on 31 December 2025 and all Singaporean households are encouraged to utilise their vouchers within the validity period.

• Is there a minimum amount of CDC Vouchers 2025 that I am required to donate?

  By submitting a donation declaration, the entire balance of your household’s CDC Vouchers 2025, as of 31 December 2025, will be donated to your preferred charity.

• The CDC Vouchers will expire on 31 December 2025 and households have until 31 January 2026 to pledge their donation. Am I able to utilise the CDC Vouchers till end January 2026?

  The CDC Vouchers 2025 will be valid until 31 December 2025 and all Singaporean households are encouraged to utilise their vouchers within the validity period.

  The donation period of up 31 January 2026 is to provide residents additional time to consider the donation of their CDC Vouchers 2025.

• Am I able to utilise my CDC Vouchers balance after I pledge my donation via the CDC Vouchers website?

  Yes. Residents that have pledged their donation of their balance CDC Vouchers 2025 can still utilise them until they expire on 31 December 2025. At the end of the donation period, PA/CDCs will tally the balance amount as of 31 December 2025 and transfer the amount to the respective IPCs from June 2026 onwards.

• Can I withdraw my pledge to donate the balance of my household’s CDC Vouchers?

  No. All pledged donations will be transferred as donated cash amounts to the chosen IPC.

• What happens to the unclaimed/undonated CDC Vouchers 2025?

  As the CDC Vouchers expire on 31 December 2025, all unclaimed/undonated CDC Voucher will lapse, and the amount will be returned to the Government for other national schemes. Therefore, households are encouraged to claim and utilise their CDC Vouchers within the validity period.

• Will I receive a confirmation on my donation declaration?

  Households who wish to receive an email confirmation of their donation declaration may provide their email address during the form submission.

• Instead of IPCs, can I donate the balance CDC Vouchers to another household (not members of my household) that I know of, who needs the vouchers?

  If you wish to share your CDC Vouchers, click on “Share” button to copy the unique voucher link and paste into any preferred messaging apps e.g. SMS/WhatsApp/Telegram. Please refer to illustration below.

  Recipients are advised to be careful with sharing unique voucher links with others, as this would allow them to spend the household’s vouchers. To ensure that you safekeep your unique voucher links, we urge you to share only when necessary and to the right parties. We seek your understanding that there will be no reinstatement made for vouchers that were shared erroneously.

• Can I donate the balance CDC Vouchers (printed)? Do I visit the CCs for assistance?

  You do not have to go the CCs. If you would like to donate the balance of your vouchers, please go to vouchers.cdc.gov.sg/donate to submit your donation declaration.

• Will I be eligible for tax deduction for the donation of CDC Vouchers 2025?

  Yes, as the cash value of the balance of your household’s CDC Vouchers will be donated to your preferred IPC, you may be eligible for tax deduction. Tax deduction may be provided by respective IPC, depending on the respective IPC’s policy on issuance of tax deduction, which will be reflected in the Year of Assessment 2027.

  Tax deduction maybe accorded to (i) the person who claimed the CDC Vouchers on behalf of the household; or (ii) the first person from the household making the donation declaration if the household has yet to claim the CDC Vouchers

  CDCs will share your details with your preferred IPC after the donation campaign ends and the amount is transferred, for them to assess and issue the tax-deduction receipt directly, if any.

• How many IPCs/ who are the IPCs I can donate the balance of my household’s CDC Vouchers to?

  Residents will be able to donate the balance of their vouchers to one preferred IPC.

  The list of participating IPCs is available on the CDC Vouchers website at vouchers.cdc.gov.sg/donation-of-vouchers.

  There are more than 100 charities, from different sectors such as Arts, Heritage, Environment, Sports, Health, etc.

• Can I donate my household’s CDC Vouchers to an organisation that is not stated on the CDC Vouchers website?

  No, residents will only be able to pledge the donation of the balance of their household’s CDC Vouchers to one IPC listed on the CDC Vouchers website.
